Labor Day Blues Overcome by Pasta, plus Lynda travails

Staycation on your Labor Day weekend? Not what I dream for in this sparkling sunshine. Still I tried to do my best. On the top photo you will see some ingredients. Navy beans, tuna and olive oil mixed with parsley, celery, salt & pepper, herbs de province, a big red onion. Throw in a tad of balsamic vinegar if it's a ll a bit too subtle. Although I consider myself quite good at Italian cooking, I never actually remember the name of each dish, let alone the Italian name for them. I do know it's tasty, though. And the finished product can be seen below. Next on my agenda - getting better at food photography.
All this food is useful, as I seem to be shut out of Lynda.Com, my software/high tech tutorial site with hundreds of different textbooks on Photoshop, In Design, After Effects, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc. Stuff I really need to know. I was using the Lake Washington passwords, but they seem to have either changed the password to their subscription, or cancelled their subscription all together. While Lynda charges $25 a month for the service, I can't even swing that. So the doors to Lynda are closed to me.
